Marlie started swimming lessons at the YMCA Monday. She goes every Monday and Wednesday for 6 weeks. I was very apprehensive because the parents aren't allowed in the room but I am able to watch from a glass door (and believe me I watch EVERY minute)! William wouldn't do it so I'll work with him this summer in the subdivision pool.

Marlie and her instructor with a little buddy of hers who knows no fear in the water, Lauren. After this Marlie had a little meltdown; crying and all upset. She didn't want to swim by herself or put her face in the water. So I reassured her that she didn't have to do anything. She was nervous all day yesterday even though I bought her a new bathing suit as an incentive but today went better. She did cry and swallowed tons of water when the instructor told her to put her face in (I guess he forgot to tell her to hold her breath), but we had a good time and went for Krystals burgers when we were done (she loves those things). We'll see how Monday goes!
