No Easter Eggs for us!

Yesterday the kids, Gill and I shopped almost all day for furniture. A friend of ours wives found us one at Sams and we met her husband up there so we could use their membership. Turns out we just went ahead and joined. They took Marlie to go see "Horton meets a who" or whatever it's called and Gill, William and I came home. At 7pm they were dropping Marlie off and said they were staying to help us put the table together. They have been a real Godsend. So they were here till 10pm and I put William to bed. We had bathed the boys together and the girls together.
When I went to check on him his bed was covered in vomit. Sweet Richard and Kelly stayed while Gill and I are running around trying to clean up and put the other chairs together for us. William vomited ALL night; about every 10 minutes. I only had time in between "bouts" to do a load of laundry before round 2 started! Gill slept with Marlie in our bed and I was in Wills room on the floor. Gill and I met in the hallway at 6am and he said Marlie started. So, here we've been all day doing laundry. So far Gill and I are well and as of tonight William is back to normal. Marlie has 101 fever but has stopped vomiting. The sweet little girl of the couple that came last night came down with mild vomiting this morning around 8am. Maybe they all caught something at church last Sunday that's all I can figure. But maybe it'll be the 24 hour thing!
Block head.
Sweet Mr. Richard and sweet Daddy
We got the Easter package yesterday Gran and Pop. (Good timing) Hope you don't mind I let the kids have it today since I thought they could use some cheering up. William is sleeping with the motorcycle!
Marlie in the pajamas from Gran eating chicken noodle soup in the bed. (I was feeding her) At least her appetite is coming back.

I gotta tell you that although I am SO tired and disappointed that we missed the Easter Egg hunt at church I am so thankful that we are in a house (can you imagine a 2 bedroom apartment with a night like last night?) and that we have a washer and dryer. (The first week here we didn't have one). I feel so privileged that I am able to take care of my kids when they feel bad and make these sweet memories. You have to admit it is so funny that we go to all this trouble and all this obsessing about what cute clothes everyone will wear for Easter and what we will cook and then everyone is sick and you realize you wasted a lot of time! Isn't that the irony of life? It's so important to see what's valuable and what isn't. We were going to have the preacher, his wife and their kids over tomorrow but now it'll just be the family and I'm cookin anyway! Happy Easter everyone!
