Monster trucks

Well, we just returned from our trip to the Monster truck show in North Carolina. We went with our friends from church Valerie and Hugh and their daughter Veronica. We all piled in the minivan (which was funny in itself) and it was a 3 hour drive. We spent the night and were all exhausted since we didn't get to the hotel room the night of the show until 12:30pm. But a fun time was had by all and lots of laughs. I think next time, though, Valerie and I will opt to stay behind and get massages, manicures and go to dinner! A devious look in William's eyes....

This guy was like 7 feet tall and weighed about 330 lbs and was carrying a Thomas the tank engine bag! I thought this was the funniest part of the night. Hugh said it was probably a disguise for his ice cold beer he was smuggling in....come to think of it, I don't think I ever saw a kid.....Hmmmm

Poor Valerie had to sit in the back seat wedged between two sugared up girls! Thank you Valerie for having pity on those of us who get car sick. What would we do without flexible folks like you?
