AAAHHHHHH......(sigh) my favorite kind of day. What a beauty it was! 75 degrees, wind blowing....who can stay in? The weather says tomorrow will be nasty so I took the kids to the library to check out lots of books and movies for staying in tomorrow, and then we went to finally fly the kite Aunt Caroline gave us.
William found a mound of sand and was happy as a pig in the mud.
We finally got the darn thing to get up; the "directions" were very basic but I could NOT find out where the little hookie thing was supposed to go. It never got much higher than this but Marlie thought she was something special anyway. She just loved it!!!

At the end of the day; one really bad fit from William and lots of chasing around the field. I finally had to say "Ok who wants ice cream?" That worked. Notice his glasses are crooked! So was I! By the way, Gill's zoning was approved so we are ordering everything for the house tomorrow. (We're already arguing about what color hardwood floor to put down! ) Let the fun begin!
