We were supposed to close on the house tomorrow and just found out an hour ago the man we're trying to buy from filed the wrong paper work and it could take 5 days to 3 months to get it straightened out. We are in a 2 bedroom apartment and my Mom is coming for Christmas, so it's a bigger bummer. I had just timed everything right....close tomorrow, floors put in next week, be in the weekend before Mom came. Now we really have to replan spending Christmas in a tiny, loud apartment. I am really disappointed. At this point, we could lose the house. To make it worse, I printed "change of address cards" for all our Christmas cards, sealed them up and put stamps on them last night. Ugh! The hard part I'm having is.....how do you know when God is closing the door? At this point we could say it's a closed door and back out, or assume God wants us to have this house and give the seller another week and see what's improved at that stage. It sure is hard to determine God's will sometimes. If anyone has any wisdom we'd appreciate it. We had our hearts set on this house.
