Well, we all took the 9 hour trip to go see Caroline, Jay and Emma Claire after several days of debating if it would be the best thing to do. (Most of you know how I can NOT commit to anything)! William had strep throat and I thought better of it, but we went for it and are so glad we did! We got to see the Sawyers beautiful new home, meet some of their sweet friends, eat their good cooking and most of all be there for the birthday party! Here's one of my favorite shots of Emma Claire with her girlfriends; they look like a couple of old friends chatting over tea!
I love this one of Emma Claire....eating the "coronary cupcakes" as Caroline and I called them because the icing is simply crisco, butter, and icing sugar!!!! Man was it GOOD!!! Thanks Jenny for the extra 5 pounds!
Wills and I stuffing our faces as usual; Marlie is probably right at my leg; she was shy and wouldn't participate at all.
